"Amadeus Tutor" Software package includes:
Practice Monitor - Solo accompaniment plays along as student performs a solo. The Practice Monitor then assesses pitch and rhythmic accuracy of the performance by each measure. Solos and accompaniment are MIDI files you can create yourself.
Scale Study - Displays a scale for the student to perform. The scale is rehearsed and graded by the program.
Graphic Tuner - Tuning needle shows pitch accuracy while a graph is drawn showing pitch changes.
Fingering Module - Shows picture of student's instrument with the correct fingering of each note.
Games - "Pitch Pong" Game controls are operated by students playing their instrument rather than a conventional joystick. Students must play certain notes to cause controls to move. Game scores improve as students' performance improve.
