Computer and other Electrical Equipment

xPOWER 1500

What can a Power Inverter do for you?

Consumer

Thanks to xPower, candles don’t have to be your only power source when you’re away from a utility outlet. We provide a range of products that take energy from a battery and convert it to everyday household power. Unlike generators, our products are safe and easy to use in your school, practice field, home, car, and anywhere else you need power.

In-Vehicle Power

XPower produces a line of products, called inverters, which take stored energy from your vehicle’s battery and convert it into household power.

Portable Power

In a single compact unit, XPower provides a source for school and household power that can be used anywhere – a marching band field, office, work site, on a boat, or even your backyard. These products are rechargeable, quiet, and safe for indoor use.

Emergency Power

When the power goes out at school or home, our XPower products can supply household power to run essentials like a lamp, TV, telephone, keyboard or computer. They are rechargeable systems that incorporate a battery and inverter, and they're ready to use if weather or blackouts interrupt your utility-supplied power.

Vehicle Jump-Start

The extreme cold of winter or heat of summer can make the battery in your car, truck, or boat too weak to start the engine. Our products can be used to give batteries the boost they need to get your engine running again.

xPower 1500

Price $419

The xPower 1500 produces household electricity for products rated at 1500 watts or less. Similar to the design of the xPower 600, the xPower 1500 sits on wheels with a removable waist level handle and integrates a 60 amp-hour AGM battery with a 1500 watt inverter. Quiet, portable, and safe for indoor use, the system is ideal for running a standard size refrigerator, microwave oven, and computer and office equipment.

Portable Household Power

xPower 1500 is an indoor/outdoor power system that produces household electricity for products rated at 1500 watts or less. xPower 1500 is similar to the design of the xPower 600 and is powered by a rechargeable battery. It is a portable emergency power system that is equipped with wheels and a removable waist level handle for easy maneuverability. The system is more than a battery as it provides 115-volt, AC household power to run a wide variety of electronic equipment and appliances when there is no utility power available. Use xPower 1500 for leisure or work applications. Power a radio for 60 hours, a 13" TV for eight hours, or a desktop computer for three hours. xPower 1500 can also jump start a car, truck or boat and can operate a wide variety of DC-powered appliances.

As an alternative to a generator, xPower 1500 is quiet, clean and requires no maintenance. The unit has a compact, integrated design that combines a 1500-watt inverter with 60 amp-hour battery and recharging capability. Recharge xPower using utility power from your wall outlet, from your vehicle as you drive, from a system equipped with a 12-volt battery-charging outlet, or from a solar panel.

Portable Power : xPower 1500 Features

Powers AC Products up to 1500 watts

xPower 1500 provides power to electrical equipment and appliances rated at 1500 watts continuous or less. The system surges to 3000 watts and is perfect for powering items such as stereos, desktop computers, TVs, VCRs, refrigerators, power tools and more. Simply turn xPower 1500's inverter on and plug in the appliance. xPower 1500 can typically power a 13" TV for eight hours or a portable stereo for 23 hours. The exact run time depends on the amount of power being drawn by the application and the charge-state of xPower's battery. xPower 1500 shuts off automatically if an appliance is rated higher than 1500 watts or if the battery is too low.

Easy to Monitor, Dual-Outlet, AC Panel

The AC Power Panel, located on the side of xPower 1500, includes a Battery Status Switch, a Battery Level Indicator, an AC Outlets Switch, a Power Indicator, a Fault Indicator, and Dual AC outlets. A DC power socket is located on the opposite side of the system.

- The Battery Status Switch turns on the Battery Level Indicator in order to provide a quick status of the battery's charge level with four light emitting diode (LED) lights.

- The AC Outlets Switch turns AC Power on or off. · The Power Indicator lights green when AC power is operating.

- The Fault Indicator lights red when an error occurs.

- Dual outlets allow you to power two electrical appliances at the same time.

- The DC Power Socket provides power to 12-volt DC appliances. It can also be used to recharge xPower's battery from a 12-volt DC source or it can extend operating time if two xPower systems are connected together.

Built-In Inverter with Protection Features

xPower 1500's inverter converts 12-volt DC battery power to 115-volt, household AC power. xPower's inverter features high surge protection to ensure longer inverter life and enables xPower 1500 to start high surge appliances like a small refrigerator. A low battery voltage alarm warns you when the inverter has nearly discharged the battery prior to automatic shutdown.

Industrial Design

xPower 1500's portable size and weight along with its sturdy frame, wheels and handle, make xPower 1500 an ideal indoor/outdoor power system. Rugged housing protects battery and electrical circuitry. Accessories for xPower 1500 are held in a built-in storage compartment.

Quick and Easy to Recharge

xPower 1500 can be recharged by using utility power from an AC outlet, from your vehicle as you drive, from a system equipped with a 12-volt battery charging outlet, or from a solar panel.

- Recharge xPower 1500 in about eight to ten hours using utility power with the AC Charger.

- xPower 1500 can be recharged in about four to six hours using the DC Charge Cable plugged into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket, or a system equipped with a 12-volt battery charging outlet like a generator.

- A small, unregulated 12-volt solar panel plugged into the DC Power Socket can recharge xPower in about sixteen hours of direct sunlight.

One Year Warranty

xPower 1500 comes with a one year warranty.

The PROsine 1800 true sine wave power inverter sets a new benchmark for performance and value in the inverter catagory. Based on a 'clean-sheet' design approach, the inverter breaks new ground in form and function, and distances itself from competitive products in the performance arena.

Utilizing advanced high-frequency switching technology in the power conversion process, the PROsine 1800 incorporates some of the most advanced circuitry and components available today. Compact, light weight and bristling with a host of features, the PROsine 1800 offers a seemless, transparent delivery of AC power.

Most significantly, PROsine's true sine wave output allows connected loads and equipment to operate the same as they would from utility supplied power. In both features and performance, the PROsine 1800 admirably takes a significant step forward.

PROsine 1800 Protection Features:

Over-temperature shutdown
